Mobile Shop Manager – 6 month fixed term contract

5 days per week (37.5 hours)
Salary in line with Minimum Wage/National Living Wage

Our 38 charity shops play a vital role in generating income to fund our service. We are seeking a Mobile Shop Manager to work full time 37.5 hours per week. This is a fixed tern contract to help provide cover for staff absences and holidays. You may be required to work in any of our shop locations and working days will include some Saturdays in line with the weekly rota. We are seeking someone who is energetic, enthusiastic, committed, highly driven and customer-focused, and able to work within any of our 38 charity shops.

Your primary duties will include the sorting of donated stock, dealing with volunteers and customers, achieving targets for income and controlling shop outgoings whilst ensuring that the shop presents an image which will promote the work of St. David’s Hospice Care.

Key skills and personal attributes for this post are:

-Excellent knowledge and experience in retail

-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

-Good numeracy and an aptitude for figures and record keeping

-An ability to prioritise your workload effectively

-Good people management skills

-The ability to work well with a wide range of people

-Have full, clean driving licence and own transport to travel to our 37 shops
