Our Support Groups

We have a whole host of regular support groups, some of which have been with us since the start back in 1979. We are always keen to hear from supporters who would like to create a group whether it be formal or informal.

Izzy Wizzy Creations Support Group

Izzy Wizzy Creations was created by Carol Phillips and Jane Gale in July 2014. Through their love of crafting they have made greetings cards and Chocolate Christmas novelties for sale at the hospice and local Christmas Fayres, with St Pierre venue being their highlight of the year. Whilst most of their items have been aimed at “pocket money” amounts they’ve gone on to raise over £10,000,  with their curvy character boxes filled with chocolates being the firm favourite. They look forward to returning to St Pierre every November, with many new as well as old favourite ideas.

Dalmatian Bike Ride Support Group

The Dalmatian bike ride is a well-loved and critical event in the St David’s Hospice Care fundraising event calendar, helping to fund the continued work of our nurses and the running of hospice services provided free to all patients and families. The price of your entry and any sponsorship raised provides vital palliative care to people facing life limiting illnesses as well as providing support to their families at a very difficult time.
