22.5 hours per week over 5 days (will include some evenings and weekends)
We have an exciting sales opportunity within our Lottery team at St David’s Hospice Care. Our Lottery provides a vital contribution to the organisation’s funds and we are always looking for new ways to help promote our services and grow our membership numbers.
As a charity with an excellent reputation in the local community we want to recruit team members with enthusiasm and motivation to help grow our Lottery. We want you to speak to people about the work we do and tell them how they can support us.
You will need to be creative and committed to seek out new prospective members. This will involve house to house calls, contacting previous members whose memberships have lapsed, making contact with local businesses and supermarkets, and possibly attending local events.
This is a target driven role so previous sales experiences will be beneficial and you will need good communication skills and to enjoy meeting new people.
You will require a full clean driving licence and need to have access to a car. Please note that hours of work should be adapted to capitalise new membership opportunities, so evening and weekend work will be required from time to time.
