St James’s Place Foundation Grant Programme Helps with Funds for New Equipment and to Reach More Patients

St James’s Place Foundation awarded a grant of £2,500 in June 2022 for the purchase of a hoist to be used to lift and move patients, without any pain or discomfort, within the In-Patient Hospice.
A further grant of £40,000 was awarded in August 2022 to increase the provision of Hospice at Homes services in Powys. This was awarded via the Hospice UK major grant award for St James’s Place Foundation grant programme 2022. The generous grant enabled St David’s Hospice Care to reach more people in a rural community that needed care and support to help improve the way end of life care is delivered.
