On Sunday 30th November, our Christmas Fayre returned to Delta Hotels by Marriott St. Pierre Country Club with over 50 stalls across 5 rooms from jewellery, candles, cheeses, chutneys, cakes, bags and much more, festive refreshments and Santa's Magical Grotto where visitors had a personalised present, gift, and an opportunity to write to Santa whilst also decorating their own Christmas Decorations! During the day we also had wonderful performances from Usk Brass Band, Lewis Hutton, 4 Bar Beat, Kre8tive Theatre and our Hospice Harmony Choir. |
Comfort Teddies donation

A very special thank you to Soroptimist International Cwmbran And District for a very kind donation of handmade Comfort teddies this month. These wonderful teddies are used within our Unicorn Service supporting Children and Young People when a significant adult in their lives is seriously ill or has died. |
Mexican Night Fundraiser

A Mexican themed night was held at Llanhennock village hall recently which raised £310 for St David's Hospice Care. The food was homemade by father and son combo, Martin and Josh Kunz, to continue the tradition set by Traci Kunz who sadly passed away earlier this year from stomach cancer. |

A big thank you to St Woolos Rotary Club for supporting St David's Hospice Care with their recent Golf Day, held at Newport Golf Club - We were delighted to welcome members to our Head Office in Newport and highlight their wonderful fundraising total of £1,000.

Support Group Christmas Fundraising

A tremendous well done and thank you to our wonderful Bluebelle Support Group on another hugely successful Christmas Raffle this December. With a table full of fantastic prizes from hampers, bottles, jewellery and gift vouchers; an amazing £849 was raised! Caerleon Support Group also hosted their very popular Christmas Coffee Morning at the end of November, with festive refreshments, stalls and more the day was a great success in aid of the hospice, for all to enjoy raising over £1,300! |

We recently visited a wonderful fundraising evening in support of St David's Hospice Care at Llandevaud Village Hall - a Country and Western Night with live performances, raffle and delicious food for all the community to enjoy. |

Jolly Jumper Day |

Jolly Jumper Day returned this December - raising essential funds for St David's Hospice Care. Simply don your best Christmas Jumper or whole outfit, have fun and donate to the cause. On Wednesday 17th December St David's held their head office Jolly Jumper Day, where staff popped on their festive fits and donated. We also had a raffle and guess the amount of celebrations competition to raise vital funds. |
Newport Philharmonic Christmas Concert

On Saturday 13th December, Newport Philharmonic Choir hosted a wonderful Christmas Concert, with special guests Tongwynlais Temperance Band taking place in St John's Church Newport. The evening was a wonderful celebration of Music and Christmas, and helped to raise essential funds for the Hospice. We are grateful to have been the selected charity and a special thank you to all who supported the evening. |
