Newport Five Series 2021

Following the sell-out success of the inaugural Newport Five event, we now introduce the Newport Five Series – although postponed for 2020 – we are looking forward to hosting the series in 2021. Dates for each event to be confirmed early in 2021.

Three opportunities to enjoy the 5 mile route along the river paths in the heart of the city of Newport, and three opportunities to support your local hospice.

Each run is chip timed, so you can trace your progress through the season.

7pm clockEach runs starts at 7pm near the University Campus off Usk Way and is just £15/£17 to enter.  Minimum Age is 15 years old.

All proceeds from these events are used to help provide vital hospice care services in our community; so your running is supporting local patients and their families. Thank you!

Registration to collect your chip/number is at the University Campus, Usk Way NP20 2BP from 5pm – 6.45pm.

Sorry, NO SECURE BAGGAGE FACILITY.

There is ample parking close to registration start/finish.The start/finish is on the path between the University Campus Building and Castle Bingo.

The route follows the river Usk as it meanders through the City, crossing the iconic Newport Bridge, the modern Pedestrian Bridge and also the magnificent SDR Bridge.
