When you become a friend, you are supporting the hospice with your minimum payment of £5, allowing us to lend a helping hand to someone in need in our community. In return, you'll get a free enamel pin badge & a complementary hot drink at our hospice cafe.
Our hospice cafe is located in our in-patient unit in Malpas at Blackett Avenue Newport, NP20 6NH and serves everything from sweet treats to soups and sandwiches.
How to become a friend
You can become a Friend of St David's Hospice Care from as little as £5 a month or you can pay a £60 lump sum for the whole year. To become a friend simply visit the Donate page and use our 'Become a regular giver' donation function.

- Visit the donate page
- Click on 'Become a regular giver', this will set up a Direct Debit.
- Choose whether you'd like to donate monthly, quarterly, half yearly or annually. The amount must be the equivalent of £60 a year. Here's what we suggest:

Monthly: £5 Quarterly: £15 Half yearly: £30 Annually: £60 - In 'Reason for donating' select 'To become a friend of St David's'
