Fundraise for St David's Hospice Care
Every donation, no matter how small, contributes towards maintaining our service of care which is incredibly important to so many people.
You don't have to be organising a community event to use our collection boxes, tins or buckets. Place one in your workplace, school or even home. If you ever find yourself with a handful of pennies and think ‘that’s not enough to make a difference’, please do think again!
From pennies to pounds
You can help St David’s Hospice Care by organising your own fundraising event. As well as having fun, you will be helping towards the care of patients and their families living locally. When you organise your own event, we're happy to help wherever we can. Ask us for general advice and request a collection box, tin or bucket to make collecting money safe & easy.
In one year a whopping £20,000 was raised through donations via our boxes.
Collection Tins
If you’re a local shop, restaurant, garage or pub, we will happily drop off your collection tin and all you need do is place it somewhere your staff and customers can see it and watch the coins roll in! This is an ideal method of giving for those who find themselves jangling around with a purse or wallet full of small change and can work anywhere whether it’s the front counter or the staff room. We’ll always send you an acknowledgement when your box is returned, which helps you to keep track of the difference you and your colleagues are making to your local Hospice.

Loose Change Boxes
If you don’t want a box for your workplace but would like to do your bit at home, our special St David’s Hospice Care Home Boxes are the perfect charitable piggy bank! It really is amazing how quickly they fill up when you pop in your odd pennies and loose change. Once your box gets full, you can either count up the amount and write a cheque out to the Hospice or drop the full box into one of our Charity Shops or our Day Hospice Receptions. When you drop your box into us, we'll post you a new one via Royal Mail.
The seemingly small gesture of dropping a few coins in a box helps us to make a massive difference to our patients and their families each year. We’ll be sure to thank you for your donation and let you know how much you raised.
