Run through the heart of the City – out to the historic town of Caerleon before returning to Newport, following the River Usk.

Raising funds
The donations and sponsorship from event supporters like you will help us to continue providing the support to those in need. Ensuring that their final days and wishes are achieved where possible.
Raising the funds
- The easiest thing is to set up a just giving page here. Share this with your friends, family and colleagues via email and social media, and watch the donations pour in.
- Hold a small fundraising event, such as a raffle at work or a quiz at the pub. This is an easy way to raise money if you feel you can’t ask people for sponsorship (here are some tips in our A to Z of fundraising tips to help you)
- You could even make a personal donation if that’s what you feel most comfortable doing.

Road closure information
The Admiral City of Newport Half Marathon is a partially closed road event. All roads along the route will be subject to traffic management procedures to ensure the safety of the runners and marshals, but in all cases will be kept to the minimum required. We appreciate the support and patience of the local community.
