Taking place at the Riverfront Theatre in Newport on Thursday 13th February at 7pm why start planning your nights out in 2020. A ideal present for Valentines Day or how about a date night coupled with a pre-show meal?

Hal Cruttenden –

Hal is one of the top stand up comedians working in the UK today, as well as being a highly accomplished writer and actor. He has made several appearances on ‘Live at the Apollo’ (BBC1 and 2), ‘Have I Got News For You’ (BBC1) and ‘The Royal Variety Performance’ (ITV) as well as his regular appearances on shows such as ‘Mock the Week’ (BBC2), ‘The Great British Bake Off: An Extra Slice’ (BBC2 and Channel 4) and ‘The Apprentice: You’re Fired’ (BBC2). On the radio, the second series of his sitcom ‘Hal’ (co-written with Dominic Holland) was recently broadcast on BBC Radio 4 and he has released two comedy DVDs, ‘Tough Luvvie’ (Universal) and ‘Straight Outta Cruttenden’(Amazon Prime and He has toured the country extensively and, in the last two years, has also taken shows to the Melbourne Comedy Festival and the New Zealand Comedy Festival.

Mike Bubbins –

Mike is an established headliner on the UK comedy circuit, regularly gigging up and down the country. He has performed on the comedy stage at many of the country’s major festivals, including Leeds, Reading, V, Green Man and The Edinburgh Fringe. He has written and toured two critically acclaimed solo comedy shows about two of the loves of his life; his ode to Elvis ‘The King and I’ , and his ode to the 1970s ‘Retrosexual Male’ . He is currently previewing his third solo show, ‘Magnet’ , and is due to tour it in 2020.
He is an accomplished radio writer and performer. As well as being a regular guest host and presenter on various BBC Radio Wales programmes, he’s also appeared in productions as diverse as ‘Kafka’s Metamorphosis’ , ‘To Hull and Back’ , and ‘Under The Stars’ , on BBC Radio 4, Radio 5’s ‘Blood on the Tracks’ and ‘Fighting Talk’ and has written, and starred in BBC Wales’ ‘Mike Bubbins: Daytripper’ and ‘Two Men One Job’ . In addition to these he is co-creator and star of BBC Radio Wales hit paranormal comedy, now beginning it’s fifth series, ‘The Unexplainers’ .

Sarah Breese – 

Sarah started her career working in TV drama in 2012 after finishing university with a First-Class BA in English with Writing and Performance, an MA in Postproduction with Visual Effects (York) and an MSt in Film Aesthetics (Oxford). In 2013 she worked with photographer Warren Orchard and Producer Ed Talfan on the title sequence for S4C / BBC TV Drama, Hinterland / Y Gwyll which won a BAFTA Cymru Award 2015. She has since designed several title sequences for broadcast, including The Girl in the Diary (BBC Wales, 2014),Gadael Yr Ugeinfed Ganrif (S4C, 2014) and Hidden / Craith (S4C / BBC Wales, 2018).

Eleri Morgan –

Eleri Morgan is standup, writer and actor from west Wales. Funny, charming and a little bit manic Eleri is a regular writer and contributed for BBC SESH and has performed at gigs throughout wales and the rest of the UK, including the Edinburgh Fringe and Mach Comedy Festival. She is also currently appearing as a series regular on the 2nd season of BBC Wales “Tourist Trap”
