Join us as a Volunteer Inpatient Receptionist and help create a warm, welcoming environment for everyone who walks through our doors. Whether you're retired, between jobs, studying, or simply want to give your time for a good cause, we’d love to hear from you!
This volunteer role is required for support on weekday afternoons (excluding Friday) between the hours of Midday - 5pm weekly & all day Saturday & Sunday. As a volunteer you can choose what afternoons/days & how many hours you would like to volunteer.
What you'll be doing- You’ll help our reception run smoothly by:
· Greeting and welcoming visitors with a friendly, professional manner
· Answering and directing phone calls
· Keeping our front desk area tidy and organised
· Helping visitors to sign in
Who we’re looking for? You don’t need to have loads of experience—we’ll support you along the way.
· A people person who is friendly and compassionate and makes others feel welcome
· Previous reception or office experience is a bonus, but not essential
