Are you up for the challenge? We invite you to join us as we climb the three highest peaks in Wales! We will be setting out early in the morning on Saturday June 23rd 2018 to tackle the three Welsh giants: Snowdon, Cadair Idris and Pen Y Fan. This is a challenge that will test your physical endurance but is extremely rewarding.

  • We will welcome you on Friday 22nd June between 5.00pm – 8.00pm, at The Padarn Hotel, LLanberis, LL55 4SU (alternatively you can check in over the phone)
  • Registration on Saturday 23rd June 2018 is from 3.30am (bottom car park Royal Victoria Hotel
  • Each Mountain will be marshalled by mountain trained experienced personnel
  • Teams – please consider putting your teams together in order of abilities
  • A BBQ will be available at the base of Pen-y-Fan to mark the finish of the event
  • Please find enclosed sponsorship forms (photocopies are acceptable)
  • Minimum sponsorship of £600 per team
  • Disclaimer Forms: Please see important notes regarding these forms
  • There are prizes for most sponsorship handed in on the day, and fastest 1st, 2nd and 3rd teams
  • We encourage your driver to make you feel comfortable during the event by providing snacks (Please consider the size of the vehicle you will be using, to ensure your comfort)
  • Please ensure you book any overnight accommodation well in advance

Cadair Idris

Approx. climbing time: 3 to 5 hours

Approx. ascent: 700 metres

Approx distance: 9km

Pen-Y-Fan

Map Required (Compulsory Kit): Explorer OL12/Landranger 160

Approx. climbing time: 2 hours

Approx. ascent: 400 metres

Approx/ distance: 8km

A disclaimer form will need to be signed by every member of the team. Please download a copy and distribute to each team member to be signed and returned to us by email or by posting to the address at the top of the form.

Please note –  The Team Captain must ensure that all participants receive a copy of the disclaimer form which must be completed and sent back to us as soon as possible after registration. Any teams who have not submitted their signed disclaimers by the cut off date of 06.06.2018 will not be able to participate.

Please note: The minimum age to take part is 14 years old on the day of the event. Anyone under the age of 18 who is taking part must have written parental consent and must be accompanied by an adult.
