32km distance…2863m ascent…1 day!

Are you up for the challenge? We invite you to join us as we climb the three highest peaks in Wales! We will be setting out early in the morning on Saturday June 24th 2017 to tackle the three Welsh giants: Snowdon, Cadair Idris and Pen-y-Fan. This is a challenge that will test your physical endurance but is extremely rewarding.

  • The routes are designed for those with a moderate to good level of fitness.
  • Teams are made up of 5 people (We are looking for 4 walkers and 1 driver).
  • T-Shirt included (based on 4 walkers & 1 driver).
  • We will welcome you on Friday 23rd June between 4pm and 8pm at The Padarn Hotel (formerly The Padarn Lake Hotel), Llanberis, LL55 4SU.
  • Registration will take place at a 3.30am ready for a 4am start on Saturday 24th June 2017.
  • There is an entry fee of £50.00 (non-refundable) per team and we are asking each team to endeavour to raise a minimum sponsorship of £600.00 to help fund our free hospice services.
  • Sponsorship forms are available for downloading at the top of this page.
  • A BBQ will be provided at the base of Pen-Y-Fan to mark the finish of the event.
  • There will be prizes for the fastest 3 teams to complete all 3 mountains. Please note that you are timed on each mountain until LAST member of your team gets back to check in so team spirit is essential!

Cadair Idris

Approx. climbing time: 3 to 5 hours

Approx. ascent: 700 metres

Approx distance: 9km

Approx. climbing time: 2 hours

Approx. ascent: 400 metres

Approx/ distance: 8km

If this challenge is something that appeals to you then get together your team of 5 (including the designated driver) and nominate a team captain responsible for the team before registering your details below.

Please note –  The Team Captain must ensure that all participants receive a copy of the disclaimer form which must be completed and sent back to us as soon as possible after registration. Any teams who have not submitted their signed disclaimers by the cut off date of 01.05.2017 will not be able to participate.


A disclaimer form will need to be signed by every member of the team. Please download a copy and distribute to each team member to be signed and returned to us by email or by posting to the address at the top of the form.

Please note: The minimum age to take part is 16 years old on the day of the event. Anyone under the age of 18 who is taking part must have written parental consent and must be accompanied by an adult.

Tiny Rebel is a family business, based in Newport, South Wales, and winner of the International Beer Challenge’s UK Brewery of the year 2016. Tiny Rebel has its own bars in Cardiff and Newport, and as a rapidly growing business has just relocated to a 1.5 acre site in Rogerstone, complete with brewery tours, a new bar and event space.
